Life's A Bunch Of... Ch5

Disclaimer: I asked him, pretending to be a beggar, “Would you like to give me Naruto?” and he kicked me in the face. Then I cried my little heart out, and went into the shadows, waiting for the time to strike once again! *insert evil laugh here*

Epilogue

Naruto ran to the flat with medical supplies in his hands. He had been all over town looking for them at a reasonable price, and had finally found them at this one shop on a deserted road. It was a weird place to find the supplies, but nevertheless, Naruto had ignored the little voice in his head that sprouted out warnings, and had went in and was able to save enough to get groceries, pay for the flat and electricity and water. It was a good deal, and he didn’t even mind those creepy eyes staring at him while he checked out.

Naruto was hugely thankful for Sasuke’s part. He knew that the obsidian eyed business man wasn’t normally trusting with money, just like all business men, but he had laid out a three thousand that would be able to support Naruto and his friends for about two months without having to pimp themselves. Even after getting medical supplies, so it was saying a lot.

He felt bad because of the note he left, but he found himself not wanting to wake the sleeping Sasuke. For both Sasuke’s sake, and his own. Yes, Naruto had done it with an ulterior move. You see, last night they had only caught up and talked lightly. Sasuke had taken his “can we not talk about this right now?” to heart and hadn’t asked about how things happened. The raven only talked about how well his company was and how much he missed having his best friend with him. It was interesting. Then they had made-out for a while.

But they had touched light subjects last night, and Naruto wasn’t sure how the talk would go. He hadn’t wanted to put up with that in the morning. It was too stressing to think about with all the events that had happened the night before. Sure when the time comes he would have to spill about everything, Sasuke would have to spill everything, and Naruto knew that neither of them wanted to relive those memories despite the much needed discussion. But if they didn’t take it slowly, one of them would surely be driven insane.

Naruto knew that breaking a rule in the unwritten handbook of rules to prostitution was bad, but he couldn’t feel disturbed by it. His cool heart had started to warm, telling Naruto that finally giving in would be worth it. Everything would be just fine.

Naruto wasn’t sure about letting Sasuke into his heart, though. Even though his heart said it was okay, he questioned it. Was it okay? Was it really okay? Naruto could ruin Sasuke’s family business; he couldn’t even give him a fucking heir to the Uchiha name. Not to mention how he could taint Sasuke with his presence. He couldn’t help but feel something bad would happen. Something bad that would include a sacrifice. Naruto knew that he would be thinking about this while doing his job.

He arrived at the place and ran into the building, taking the stairs two at a time to get to the top faster. The apartments were only five stories long, and it wasn’t that much of a workout for Naruto. Before he had dropped out of college he had been a runner. Running came natural to him, since it was the only thing he had ever done in his life.

The blond reached the top and breathed deeply to regain a little lost breath as he pushed his hand into his pocket to find the set of keys he carried. His palm hit them with a small metallic sound before wrapping his fingers around it and pulling it out of his pants. He found the lone white key lost in the sea of keys on his chain and opened the door with a slight grimace as he held all the bags of medical supplies in one hand. Damn, but they were HEAVY.

“Sakura? Kiba? Gaara?” He called out their names, taking in the stillness of the apartment with suspicious eyes. He trailed into the flat slowly, and let out a breath of relief when he saw Kiba sleeping on the couch with lines of pain on his face. He was shirtless with medical tape wound around his ribs to cover his gigantic paper of a bandage. Naruto felt a small flush of shame. While he had enjoyed being reunited with his old friend his friend had probably been suffering. Naruto probably should have come back when he had woken up at three, but then it would have been hard finding a store with the stuff open.

He set the stuff down gently and chose to wake his friend, grabbing the strong pain-killers he had bought and opening it. He decided to grab a glass of water before reaching out a hand to gently wake Kiba. The brown haired boy stirred before blinking strangely clear eyes at the sight of his worried blond friend. Kiba smiled at Naruto, and Naruto let his mask slip back into place, grinning.

“Hey, man. Sorry about not coming back earlier. I bought some stuff to help you though,” He gestured to the bags by the wall. He watched guiltily as Kiba blinked with now pain fuzzed eyes. “Kiba, hey, stay awake for me. Take some pain-killers before you go back to sleep, okay? I’m going to check up on your wound while you sleep.”

“…’kay,” Kiba sighed, allowing himself to be lifted into a reclined position, grimacing slightly as the movement pulled the skin near his wound.  Naruto supported Kiba’s bare back with his arms, and held up the glass and pill encouragingly. Kiba looked at him for a second before taking the pill and using the water to swallow it. Naruto slowly helped his friend back down and to get comfortable, fluffing a few pillows and setting the extra glass of water on the coffee table in reach for the brown haired youth.

“Go ahead and sleep,” Naruto said, eyeing Kiba’s makeshift bandage that covered the whole torso. “We’ll check your wound later and rebandage, okay?”

He sighed quietly when Kiba easily fell to sleep, getting up from his kneeled position on the ground with a slight pop from his knees. He grunted a little as he grabbed the empty glass on the floor, walking calmly into the kitchen to put it by the sink. He wondered who would be doing the dishes with a slight scowl as he headed for the hallway to get into his room.

When he stepped into his room he gave it a look over before shrugging. Clothes were neatly piled up onto the foot of his bed and his desk was full of papers. It wasn’t big, but it wasn’t small either. Naruto flopped onto his bed, mindful of the clothes, and put his arms under his head as he looked up at the ceiling.

Naruto looked at the clock near the bathroom door with another long sigh, hoping that his other friends were alright. They had to be out in the streets, probably selling their bodies to try and get more money so that they would be able to help support Kiba with his huge-ass wound, which made Naruto feel terrible because all he had to do was talk and the money was his.

Sasuke… Sure, he was as arrogant as always with that huge ego of his, but something was different about the raven. There was something shady and… cold, in those black eyes. Naruto knew better than to push for information, but he couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to Sasuke. His childhood friend had been almost carefree, though it was hard to be carefree with parents like Sasuke’s who breathed down their necks practically every second. Naruto had hated Sasuke’s father when they were younger. Fugaku had been pestering his children for perfection. Naruto remembered when he went to visit Sasuke, Itachi would always be fighting with the Uchiha father about Sasuke having privileges. And Mikoto, Sasuke and Itachi’s mom, would do nothing but watch with carefully expressionless eyes.

He knew that it had been like hell for Sasuke, but he still had tried his hardest at school. Always the one with top grades and the best at sports. It had made Naruto seethe with envy before he got to know the dude. It had always been “Oh my god! It’s Sasuke!” with the girls at school. Soon after Naruto had gotten to know the raven-haired boy and then the rest was history.

But something had supposedly gone wrong a few years later and Sasuke had disappeared from his life without saying goodbye. Until last night, of course.

Naruto didn’t get it. No, he decided that it was way too confusing to even muse about without the whole story, so he shoved it into the back of his mind hoping to hell it would shut up. After all, making assumptions wouldn’t do anyone good and curiosity always killed the cat.

The street was dark, the one and only lamp post light flickering at the end of the road. Shops had long closed and there were only a few millers trying to rush with paranoid eyes to their cars and homes. A few blocks down was the red light district. It was a booming place for the night, adults drinking and gambling and having sex with prostitutes in whore houses for fun. Arenas were open with a flourish of lights and strippers were outside trying to get other guys to come into the shop to view the show of erotic dances.

In one corners of the red light district was a whore house called Little Boys. A place for pedobears and male adults who had a fetish for boys who ranged from looking like age eight to twenty, it was the perfect place to be targeted for something more than sex.

One of the counter men looked at the new arrival and guest with keen eyes and gleam for money. He smiled harmlessly at the guest who had paid a thousand to be with ‘Yougert’, a fifteen year old youth who had long flaxen-blond hair and grey-blue eyes. He was soft spoken and was specially recognized with talents that made a man beg. Yougert was a bombshell with a mind carefully hidden. Those soft slate grey-blue eyes actually had intelligence very well hidden in the depths.

“I hope you have a good time,” the counter man beamed. “Yougert will be with you in a second.” The man acknowledged this with a smile and a nod. With that, the counter man scuttled out to tell his boss about the big money raise.

Yougert watched the man behind the one-sided glass cautiously. The lights were soft, so he couldn’t see the features but he could feel a shiver of unease wrack up his spine. Something was weird about his customer’s eyes this time. Because the man wasn’t one to frequent this place, Yougert couldn’t tell whether or not if it was a good weird or a bad weird. His hand twitched to the side of his geisha dress before he stood up gracefully. It was enough time pondering. The man would get impatient soon if he didn’t show up and impatient customers didn’t work well with his job. He made his way out of the one-sided window room and into the room by another door, keeping his head down and voice soft.

“I’m sorry about the wait, Master.” The man’s white teeth gleamed.

“It’s okay, beautiful,” the rough voice said. “I rather like the anticipation build.”

Yougert made his way inside the room, closing the door softly and kneeling before the man, head still bowed. “How do you want me?”

“Strip for me.”

He rose gracefully and stripped, long and skilled fingers plucking the kimono dress from his lean body with ease. He stood naked in front of the stranger, eyes gleaming with fake lust. The man’s smile turned sadistic, and suddenly he was behind Yougert, causing his eyes to widen with alarm when he felt a hand wrap around his mouth.

“Just how I like to kill my victims. Blond, blue eyed and naked under me.”

Yougert’s eyes widened with fear and he was sent tumbling into darkness.
