The free webhost Geocities is closing this year.
Gundam Wing Addiction's Tyr is taking in authors who have Geocities pages. If you have one, please consider archiving it with GWA.
Or if you know of authors with Geocities pages, please let them know of the below.

Hello all:
It is very nice to see that the GW fandom is still going strong, and now is the time to preserve as much of its history and current activity as possible!
As some of you may have noticed, Gundam Wing Addiction has gone through some major back-end maintenance over the past few months and besides starting to update all authors's pages, we are going to declare an open season for archiving at GW Addiction.
Because Yahoo has announced that free Geocities websites will be dicontinued by the end of 2009, I would like to give priority to pages and archives threatened by this decision...
Please send applications to suggestions to tyr0 at yahoo .com with either the URL of your Geocities page or an indication of where your fanfiction can be found if you are currently relying on LiveJournal of a mailing list archive (do not send me WORD documents unless agreed to previously).
Regarding current GWA authors (TB and TK and all.), I will start updating your pages pulling from the gw-fan mailing list or feel free to contact me if there is a more efficient way avaliable...
Please note that the next functionality I will add to the GWA archive will be the ability to add stories summaries and the ability for authors to upload their own stories.
Suggestions and requests are welcome, and I beg your indulgence if I take longer to reply than I should (real life, you know!) but I would be grateful for any reminders such as: 'why is X's page is not listing story A?' or 'Did you notice that story B give a 404 error from the author Y's main index page?'
